Long Term Survivor Check In:
Just wanted to get a consensus how long term survivors are doing in general. Health, getting enough support, relations with family and friends, encountering any stigmas. I've lived with HIV half my life, diagnosed with HIV in 1987. I am having issues with all of the above. It is hard finding a place to fit in.
Anyone else experiencing this?
A long-term survivor shared their experience in the knowledge base. Diagnosed in 1985, they were initially told they had only two years to live. Over 35 years later, they are still thriving, thanks to… read more

But I suffer AIDS Survivors Syndrome in a major way which has inevitably isolated me into feeling completely misunderstood by my friends, and family. It is fair to say most of my… read more

Does Anyone Have Any Happy HIV Stories To Share??? Does Everything Have To Be Gloom And Doom?
My story: The lbgtqiaxyz senior program I recently joined has a subsection group for poz 50+. It really is a joy to be at a center that has such special programming. I've been to a play and party event. Met some wonderful people as well. Looking forward to an enjoyable future.
